Domenico Purificato

Fondi, 1915 - Roma, 1984

After graduating in classics, Purificato begins deroting himself to painting, and in 1936, he exhibits his works for the first time in Rome. He adhered to the Scuola Romana, before the second World War, and devoted himself in particular to purtrait painting.

After the world he hold several personals in Rome, Venice and Milan and takes part in the most important art exhibition or international level.

The artist also takes an interest in the cinema, working on stage design for cinema, theatre and TV art reviews, publishing numerous articles in which contemporary art problems are tracted.
