This work signed and dated 1949 in the lower right part of the painting, is a youthful production by the artist: the marked and decisive strokes define the painting of the background into sky, sea and beach and very geometric figures declare a study of the early twentieth century movements.
Both warm and cold colours have been used, rendering the shading clear cut and contrasting. The diffused light is natural and the canvas rouses a sensation of calm and harmony.
