Madonna dell'umiltà San Biagio

Documented in the last period of the XV century, the fragments of the fresco came from the monastery of Saint Blaise. It might represent a triptych: the Virgin in the centre, Saint Blaise on the left, and Archangel Rafael.

The Virgin with the Child, is stated on a cushion, lower a nun. Then there is Rafael who holds the pisside and he is the guide for Tobiolo: this image represents the guardian angel. The other fragment depicts Saint Blaise who is the protector of the nuns.

The landscape represents a stylised garden.
