Adriano Bogoni

Monteforte D'Alpone di Verona, 1896 - 1970

Bogoni was active in the Milan area, from the end to the first world war; his early painting was analytic, particularly in his portaraits, the artist manages to render the strong psychologycal and entrospective drive of the subjects.

He paints still life and landscapes in the fifties, apparently fascinated by the ligurian sea, above all. Bogoni appears to transfer his passion for analysing emotions and feelings urth these new subjects.

In 1976 thirteen of the artist's works were donated by the artist's widow Maria Pia Baccarelli, Cesena born, to the towns Civic allery.
