Adriano Bogoni (Monteforte D'Alpone, Verona,
1896 - Cesena, 1970) - Olio su tavola; cm 80 x 70
The work, painted in 1938, depiets the head of a woman restino on a swing, with a glass containing flowers and a small bird nearly.
The background is a landscape with a river, trees and houses which take up the lower part and hills as far as the horizon. The clear-cut drawing and the tender colours confer a soft lighting that emphasises the sweetness of the woman's features and attribuite a rarefied atmosphere to the scene.
The painting is part of the bequest made by the artist's wife to the Cure Gallery in 1976.
