Cesena, 1603 - 1666
Little is known of Razzani's studies, although we can presume he was strongly influenced by the Lombardesque figurative culture. His works appear less innovative and of a lesser quality than those of his contemporary, Serra. Despite this fact, Razzani received numerous commissions carrying out numerous altarpieces and distinguishing himself above all with portraits of Cesena's aristocrats.
The estasi di San Guarino
and the portrait ritratto di frate Tommaso da Caltagirone
are productions of his that we can see in the Gallery.
