Paolo Grilli (Cesena, 1857 - Roma, 1952)
Both pictures represents a mezzo busto (half-length) young girl, sideways, dressed in a bright white gown.
The quick stroke belongs to a period of transition and experimention of the artist's part, which departs from the naturalism, characteristic of his previous portraits.
Both works are signed and dated 1888 in the upper left part.
