San Cristoforo San Sebastiano San Rocco

After varied opinions and doubts about the triptychs of the Saints Christopher, Sebastian, and Rocco, critics think all three paintings to be made by Aleotti, even if the pictures of St. Christopher and Rocco would appear to be more ancient than the other one.

In the first picture St. Christopher on the left and Salvator Mundi on his shoulders are represented. The Saint is about to cross the river and he has a cane stuck in the water .The character is just in front of the public's attention.

In the central picture St. Sebastian is represented tied and bound to a tree and pierced all over body by arrows.

St. Rocco is the third character on the right of the triptych, he is standing and in the act of praying. Through his worn clothes, which represented his lengthy wandering we can see the buboes of the pestilence on his left leg.
